Rihanna Denies Using Drake, Says She Was “Too Fragile” For Love

Rihanna & Drake
It wasn’t you, Drake—it was her. Rihanna told Hot 97 this week that she never meant to step on the heart of the  DeGrassi star, who accused her of using him like a “pawn” before she started dating Matt Kemp. (”She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, wow, this feels terrible”). “We just went out—my friends, his friends,” she explained. “I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is, like it was what it was. We didn’t want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn’t want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time.” Fair, but we prefer the statement Rihanna  gave about Drake to Ed Lover the day before:  “he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”

Despite her tolerance of those young R&B crooners who love to accuse her of victimizing them, RiRi doesn’t show the same love for us bloggy types. “It’s a community for people who don’t have anything else to do and hate themselves,’” she Lover. “They hate their life, they hate their job, they hate their appearance, they are uncomfortable with who they are so what makes them feel good is talking smack about other people who they think they will never ever see in their life and they happen to be celebrities. It seems impossible to ever have the opportunity to say these things to their face, so they get to hide behind their computer.” Considering Drake does get to spend quality time with Rihanna, does that make him better or worse?
