Drake Shelves R&B Mixtape For Take Care Album

Drake recently announced that he will be shelving his R&B mixtape titled It’s Never Enough, so that he can focus on working on his sophomore album titled Take Care.

I am truly enjoying my life right now. Its been so long since I have wrote anything on here because I feel like for a while I was trying to digest it all and save it for the music. But its finally set in that I am living my dreams and doing with all my closest friends from Toronto. I wake up and never know what to expect from any given day but good or bad I always learn something from it. I have decided that I am going to push “It’s Never Enough” and focus completely on delivering Take Care to you all. I feel like my mind is truly ready to make this next album NOW and I don’t want that feeling to escape me. My mother is doing well for all who have been asking. She went to her first swimming class the other day and won gold…not really but you know what I mean. OVO gang is all smiles and 40 is making some of the best music I have heard in my entire career. I am in the airport right now headed to LA to meet up with Boi-1da tonight. Its all feeling right. Its truly been a pleasure to speak again. Thank you for all your energy. Soon. Guidance.

Drake Meets Rio Ferdinand

On the final day of Drake’s 2011 UK tour, he stopped by Manchester United Football Club’s training grounds before heading to Birmingham for his last show. He met up with MUFC’s defender Rio Ferdinand (a big fan of the YM superstar), who gave him a mini-tour of the ground, introduced him to the whole MUFC team, and even gave him a signed football from the Man Utd players. This is great news for myself, because I’m a big Manchester United fan haha!

Rihanna Denies Using Drake, Says She Was “Too Fragile” For Love

It wasn’t you, Drake—it was her. Rihanna told Hot 97 this week that she never meant to step on the heart of the  DeGrassi star, who accused her of using him like a “pawn” before she started dating Matt Kemp. (”She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, wow, this feels terrible”). “We just went out—my friends, his friends,” she explained. “I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is, like it was what it was. We didn’t want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn’t want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time.” Fair, but we prefer the statement Rihanna  gave about Drake to Ed Lover the day before:  “he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
