Will And Kate’s Royal Wedding Invites Are Out, Duchess Of York Snubbed

Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s official wedding invitations are in business. 1,900 lucky guests around the globe have received this 10 by 6 inch white card that has the insignia of Will’s grandmom, Queen Elizabeth.It’s a simple invite, with gilt edging, with the Lord Chamberlain (as commanded by the Queen) asking guests to arrive on April 29 at 11 am at Westminster Abbey. They’ve been asked to dress in “Uniform, Morning Coat or Lounge Suit.”

Suffice to say we haven’t got an invite, which is well enough because we don’t know what the hell we’d wear. A lounge suit? That sounds like something Hugh Hefner puts on. We’re in good company though, because joining us in watching the imminent wedding on T.V will beMichelle Obama who hasn’t got an invite either. And the strict guest list applies to the Royal Family as well. Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has not been invited, but her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been, and will attend. Ouch!

It’s all gravy though, because Fergie’s rep has stated, “She will not be attending. She never expected to be invited.” That’s what happens when you get caught offering access to Prince Andrew for money in an undercover News of the World sting operation.

Is Prince William En Route To Getting Hitched?

If reports are true, then it means that one very eligible prince is off the market. Apparently, England collectively believes that Prince William and Kate Middleton are this close to making it official, so much so that bookies are betting on it. Anytime between December and February is what’s being bandied about.
Considering they’ve been together on and off since the Prince was in college, it’s about bloody time! Post attending William’s friend, Harry Meade’s wedding together, one of Kate’s pals said, “Kate knows she she’s going to need conservative yet attractive outfits once they are engaged and she’s started collecting a very enviable wardrobe.” That comes from the fact that Kate’s going the custom outfit route (pictured above) with designer Daniella Issa Helayel, who conveniently, just started designing wedding gowns too. How badass would it be if popped the question by turning up at Kate’s house in a helicopter (again).
Right. We’re just going to go ahead and say it… as long as Prince Harry’s still single, we’re going to be just fine. No offense to William, but have you seen how hot the ginge-brotha has got lately? A girl can dream, ok?
