Kanye Never Should Have Apologized For Bush Comments, Says Russell Simmons

Poor Kanye! No matter what he does, he’s ticking somebody off. If he isn’t insulting former President George Bush, Kanye West is making fellow millionaires mad by not insulting former President George Bush. Can’t we cut this guy a break already?
Based on comments he made on his new show, according Russell Simmons, Kanye West’s apology to the President never should have left his brain, especially not when many so Americans agree with his original statements, i.e. that Bush was fairly crappy when it came to helping African-Americans.  Says Russell, “I’m a little bit disappointed that he apologized to George Bush. I felt like, why do that s**t?” Hmm, yeah…we agree with that. But then again, where were the other celebrities when Kanye was being raked over the coals for making Bush Jr. cry into the gigantic silky pillows on his Presidential Suite bed? Seems awfully convenient to bring it up now that it’s all blown over.
Explained Simmons, “Kanye says things that people think but don’t always get to say, so when he says ‘George Bush don’t like black people,’ it was what millions of Americans thought and felt.” Well, if ever there was a time to make some statements about the former President, today’s the day, Russell! We mean, Bush probably already has a half-empty box of Kleenex next to his bed. Really, how bad can you make him feel?

Kanye Will Not Grace The Today Show Stage With His Presence, Thanks A LOT, Matt Lauer

We always thought the Today Show was a benign, inoffensive morning program, but it has been in the news so many times in the past two weeks, we’re starting to think they’re pulling some kind of ratings stunt. Namely because of this never-ending George Bush-Kanye West-Matt Lauer debacle that will not die.  (Sorry, Good Morning America, you need to start up some beefs of your own if you want us to care about you.) As a result of Dishing-It-Out-But-Not-Taking-It-itis, West is refusing to perform as scheduled on the Today Show’s November 26 episode.
To recap, first, Bush told Matt Lauer that what Kanye said after Hurricane Katrina about how W doesn’t care about black people was the worst thing to happen during his presidency.  So then Kanye told Lauer he was sorry. Then Bush told Lauer he accepted the apology. Yes, a separate interview for each moment of this ridiculous, five-year-old non-issue. But it’s not over! Because Kanye is upset (perhaps you read his Twitter rants?) that the program ran distracting footage of Taylor Swift-gate during his interview and West says he felt like Lauer “tried to force my answers.” So because Kanye feels used, last night he Tweeted “I’m not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I’m so happy the world got to see just a small piece of “the set up.” West also wrote “All positive energy … all smiles. Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show. I accept ya’ll future apology in advance LOL!”
The Today Show confirms that the gig is canceled, but Lauer has not responded personally because, LOL, he’s smart enough not to get into Twitter fights with a guy like Kanye.

Only Kanye’s Twitter Understands Him

We tried to go a full twenty-four hours without posting on Kanye West antics. Really we did. But he is too strong. We can’t fight him anymore. Damn you, Kanye.
The rapper is unhappy with how he was treated while filming an interview with Matt Lauer, during which he clarified his feelings on former President George W. Bush. Lauer showed only a short clip of the interview to Bush on a live Today Show discussion this morning, in which Kanye explained, “I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist. But I believe that in a situation of high emotion like that, we as human beings don’t always choose the right words.”

Seems OK to us. But according to Kanye, something happened during his interview taping that pissed him off. So he confided in his closest friend: his twitter. And quite frankly, we were kind of disturbed by the tortured soul he poured out. In one hour he dropped 17 tweets, each one more haunting than the last.

Everything is a remake these days…*sigh* It appears that the flogged to death horse that is the Kanye West and Taylor Swift VMA Spat is getting new life in a porn. Naturally. Because the sexual tension just oozed out of the moment, are we right?

Now we’ve looked at this from every possible angle, and we fail to see how interrupting an awards show acceptance speech could possibly lead to a sexual encounter of any kind. Unless it’s with the Beyonce character, who is wooed by faux-Kanye’s boldness. (Are we right? Write this down, Vivid people!) According to Hirsche, they’re still working on that part. Kanye West's Massive Posse Track 'All Of The Lights' Leaks

Song from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy features Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Elton John and others.

Kanye West's much-anticipated My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy isn't scheduled to arrive in stores until November 22, but another track from the album has made its way onto the Internet. And this one is big.
"All of the Lights," which was first heard in partial form during the marching band scene in West's short film "Runaway," has leaked, and it's one of the most impressive new West songs — not only does it have a bombastic, unapologetically catchy beat, it has a slew of cameo appearances.
Rihanna handles the main hook, but the track also features drop-ins from Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John (on piano), Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams and La Roux singer Elly Jackson. Even with all those people present, the majestic, cinematic "Lights" clocks in at just under five minutes.
