Brazilian Football legend Ronaldo confirms retirement!!!

Now onwards the fan of Ronaldo , brazillian footballer can’t see him playing in the stadium. Brazillian footballer know for his speed and dribbling capacity, the all time leading scorer at world cup tournament and three time world fifa player of the year confirmed his retirement from football on Monday at age of 34.

 He emotionally expressed his retirement at a press conference in San Paulo during which he also revealed that he is suffering from thyroid problem. “I am stopping my career as aprofessional footballer” he said with breaking voice “It ha sbeen a beautiful, emotional and marvelous career “. He further said with tearful expression “these last two years, I had long series of injury and that never ends and the pain pushed me to think about the end of my career.

 Having earlier indicated that he hoped to play for his club Corinthians until the end of the year but injuries and early elimination of his club from the Copa Lebertodores prompted him to bring forward his retirement. The fans of his club Corinthians were gone aggressive and started hitting the cars and bus of players and team.





During his prolific fourteen year spell in Europe after he leave his club Cruzeiro in brazil, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima commonly known as Ronaldo, scored goal at prolific rate for different Clubs like PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter Milan, real Madrid and AC Milan before returning back to brazil again in 2008.

 Not only for the club but also for his own country he had contributed a lot. His team won the world cup in South Korea and Japan in 2002 by his two inspirational goal in the final against Germany. He was first selected in Brazilian national team in 1994 world cup as bench player and later become the leading scorer in world cup scoring all together fifteen goals in three world cup finals. He had played 97 international matches for his team Brazil and scored 62 international goals.
 He was twice named European footballer of the year in 1997 and 2002.  I wish he will get new role in football as he is one of the living legends of football.
