Your Text Is On Fire: Are Miley And Jared Followill Phone-Flirting?

How do two people constantly on different world tours ever get to plan a first date? Apparently Miley Cyrus and Kings Of Leon’s Jared Followill are texting, so we might soon find out. Allegedly Cyrus has been sweet on the bassist since meeting him at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2010. “Miley wants to keep Jared interested … she often sends him coy text messages,” a source close to the band told Hollywood Life. “Coy”? Isn’t that the sweetest way to describe texts between two consenting adults? Let’s just say we’ve all texted someone we’re interested in it, and only about .1% of our communication could be described as “coy.” And most of those guys weren’t even smoking hot rock stars!
Luckily, the text love seems to be mutual. “So far, he is a big fan of what she has been sending. He thinks she’s very pretty and is excited she’s still flirting with him. Jared loves showing off his texts from Miley,” the source claims. Well, since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth broke up in November, our girl is free to text, tweet, ping and poke any consenting adult of her choosing. Except lay off the poking, Miley. You don’t want to seem too forward.

Kelly Osbourne Rushes To Miley’s Defense Armed With Cupcakes

Is there any problem in the world that cupcakes can’t fix? Kelly Osbourne sure doesn’t think so. While in New Orleans shooting So Undercover with Miley Cyrus, Kelly Osbourne went off on any and all haters who have been giving her bong-loving pal Miley a hard time. “Just read in the rags that apparently my mum thinks Miley is a bad influence on me it could not be father from the truth!” Kelly tweeted. “This really makes me mad. Miley is one of the most hard working respectful women I have ever worked with I am learning a lot from her!” Considering Kelly has been to rehab three times, including once in 2009, we certainly hope that Miley isn’t enabling anything worse than the occasional 3:00am sugar binge.
In reality, Kelly says it’s Cyrus who’s been encouraging clean living for the both of them. “Actually it’s the other way around Miley has us all on a health kick. Gym/early nights There really scraping the barrel on that one!” After her rant Osbourne posted pictures of the girls chowing down, joking “This is how im a bad I influence on Miley I force her to eat cupcakes so I don’t feel so bad about eating one!” That picture is adorbs.org! Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Break Up. Again

It’s been a rough week for romance in the Cyrus household. Not only have Cyrus-clan heads Tish and Billy Ray filed for divorce, but apparently Miley and BF Liam Hemsworth have split up as well. If you’re getting deja vu, there’s a reason: the pair broke up in August, only to be seen very passionately together the following month.

Miley met her main man while filming The Last Song in June 0f 2009, and the relationship has had its share of ups and downs ever since. ”Their on-and off-again relationship is currently off,” a friend told People.com. “But you never know with Miley and Liam. They could be back on at some point.” Another insider chimmed in by saying that, “There was no drama. The relationship just ran its course. They were good friends first and remain friends.”
Hopefully he can help her through what must be a difficult time at home.

Miley Cyrus' Parents, Billy Ray And Tish, Split

Couple are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage.

Teen megastar Miley Cyrus' parents, Billy Ray and Tish, have called it quits.
The couple confirmed to People on Wednesday (October 27) that they are breaking up after 17 years of marriage.
"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," they said in a statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers." The pair have five children and Billy Ray is father to Metro Station's Trace.
Both of Miley's parents have been supportive of their superstar daughter's career. Billy Ray, a country hitmaker known for the ubiquitous 1992 jam "Achy Breaky Heart," starred as Miley's onscreen father on the hit Disney show "Hannah Montana." Miley has credited him with helping her maintain a level head despite her outsize fame.
"It's about being who you are. My dad has been in the spotlight for 20 years now and still every time he walks his dog they're saying, 'Billy Ray picks up dog poop,' " Miley told MTV News in June. "It's like, 'That's a law in California, folks.' You gotta do what you gotta do. That's life for you. That's life in the spotlight — it's never gonna change."
Miley's mom has been instrumental behind the scenes, recently serving as an executive producer on her film "The Last Song" and inadvertently helping to cast her onscreen love interest — who eventually became her offscreen beau — Liam Hemsworth.
Miley has also paid tribute to her parents' bond in the video for her 2009 smash "Party in the U.S.A." Director Chris Applebaum explained to MTV News that the visual was inspired, not only by the monster throwback musical "Grease," but also the Cyruses' courtship.
"Interesting enough, Miley's parents Tish and Billy Ray, when they were first dating they went to a drive-in in Kentucky, I think, called the Corral Drive-In — so we named the drive-in after that as an homage to them," Applebaum said. "In addition, Miley's mom Tish used to drive '79 black Pontiac Trans Am, 'Smokey and the Bandit' style, and obviously that's the car that Miley arrives in."
Miley has also maintained that her parents' support has helped her deal with the sting of negative press.
"I'm a very inspirational person," she said. "At the end of the day my parents are proud of me, and I have a feeling if your job is to bring other people down, you may not have the same response."
