Are Chord Overstreet And Taylor Swift An Item?

Glee’s Chord Overstreet and Taylor Swift attended an L.A. Kings hockey game at the Staples Center last night, leading to rumors that the two are dating. While the photographic evidence is slim (no P.D.A.s, but they certainly do look friendly), a source said they were flirting during the game. Hmm. Swift is not the type to hide her relationships—you’ll recall that even her brief dalliance with Jake Gyllenhaal was well-documented and publicized—so we’re excited by the prospect that she’s found someone closer to her own age. Swift is 21, and Overstreet just celebrated his 22nd birthday on Sunday.

Celebrate Your Inner Loser With The New Glee Original Songs

While dyed-in-Slushie Gleeksters are going to have to wait until March 8 for the entire album to drop, two of the new original Glee songs debuted this morning on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show. Our favorite of the two? The poppy, snotty “Loser Like Me,” a tune celebrating the life of a nerd rebel. Says Glee‘s musical director Adam Anders, “It’s a very uptempo, kind-of-summery hit.” The song was co-written by Max Martin, a producer and songwriter who also helped create such gems as Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream” and a string ofBritney Spears‘ hits spanning from “…Baby One More Time” all the way to “Hold It Against Me.” “Loser” is just the thing to get Gleeks everywhere singing along into their hair brushes in front of the mirror after spending the weekend stuffed in a locker.

The second jam is the power ballad “Get It Right” featuring Lea Michele going it solo. While Broadway-trained Michele needs no Autotune to hit the high notes, it more resembles a moody Kelly Clarkson/ Evanescence song rather than the bombastic show-stopper we would have hoped from her. So not Rachel Berry. Now if we can only get a Jane Lynch nu-metal joint to look forward to, we’ll be first in line to snatch this album up.

Matthew Morrison Wants Keira Knightley To Guest On Glee, Kiss Him

Looks like Glee is helping Matthew Morrison’s lovelife as well has career—the actor is using interviews to let famous ladies know he’s DTF. When asked by the UK Glamour who should follow Gwyneth Paltrow, Eve and Britney Spears onto the set of his hit show, Matthew ran his hands over his rippling torso and moaned, “Oh God, I’m such a sucker for women with British accents. So many to choose from…actually I’ll go with a Brit because I really like this girl—Keira Knightley. She should guest star in Glee [and play] the part of the girl who gets kissed by Will Schuester.” Down, boy!
While the show’s omnipresent autotune could plausibly get Knightley over claims she’s “not a good singer,” her long-term relationship with Rupert Friend would probably put the kibosh on extended Matthew’s fantasies offscreen. Meanwhile, co-star Lea Michele has said she’d love to see Justin Timberlake on the program, though she hasn’t described how Rachel would get her hands on him…yet.

Get ready to gleek out something fierce. Chris Colfer, better known as Kirk on Glee, is set to star in a film he wrote himself. According to Variety, Colfer plans to shoot Struck By Lightning during Glee’s hiatus next summer, with David Permut (Youth In Revolt) handling the directorial duties. Not bad for a 20-year-old!

While a studio has yet to sign up to produce, it’s hard to believe someone won’t snap this up fast. “I was very impressed with how sophisticated Colfer’s writing is,” said Permut, comparing the script to a John Hughes movie. “He may be only 20 but he’s an old soul.” Speaking of “old soul,” we’re guessing Ducky will actually get to sing an Otis Redding song in this Pretty In Pink rather than lip sync.mages]
