Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to Work Together in Yash Raj Movie " Ek Tha Tiger'' !!!

Yash Raj Films is pleased to announce its next project. Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller Ek Tha Tiger, stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Ex romantic pair who broke their love relation due to certain circumstances are together again and it is interesting to see their on screen as well as off-screen chemistry.

 Yash Chopra, speaking about the project, said it was a very happy moment for him. "Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on Deewaar, Trishul and Kaala Patthar. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time. Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences. Combined with Kabir's edgy directorial skills, we can all look forward to a thrilling film. I really loved the script which is based on a story written by Adi and I am sure that the whole team will do an excellent job on this project."

Salman Khan was also honoured to be working with YRF for the first time. He said, "In the past Adi and I have met a few times on various projects but somehow, when Kabir and he came to me with this particular story, we all just knew that this was the one. It is a very ambitious project and will be a challenge for all of us, but that's exactly what makes it such a big draw. Above all this, I'm honoured to be working with Yashji, who has worked so closely with my Dad in the past."

The story is by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay and Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP. The music will be scored by Pritam.

The film starts shooting early July and is slated for a mid-2012 release. Will this pair can bring the same magic as they did before in few movie. To know the result one should watch till 2012 untill the movie will be released.

Karan Johar hires a team of 30 security guards to prevent paparazzi!!!

Karan Johar has reportedly hired 30 security guards to ensure that no on-set images of his new film are leaked.He want paparrazi not the enter the set of his movie.

The director decided to take action after a number of Indian publications printed photos of lead star Hrithik Roshan filming Agneepath, the Mumbai Mirror claims.

A source on the Dharma Productions project stated: "Well, we had ten guards on the sets before. We now have 30. So about 20 new guards have come in. And they are all from a professional group."

The filmmaker had been shooting a religious festival scene in the Mumbai suburb of Versova when unauthorised photographers infiltrated the set.

The source continued: "Karan is a marketing genius. You can call him a methodical planner. He likes to market all his films in planned phases. So he was upset when the media leaked out the pictures."

Johar's film ran into controversy after a fight started among extras working on the project.

Roshan and co-star Priyanka Chopra were also involved in an accident after a lamp spilled burning oil onto the actors.

The 5 month old son of Sanjay Dutt makes his acting debut

Manyata and Sanjay Dutt’s son, Shahraan is all set to make his debut in Bollywood. The surprise element- he is five months old! David Dhawan, who is known for his comedy movies and the “No.1” series, is directing Dutt’s son in his next directorial venture, “Rascals”.

The movie is being shot in Mehboob Studios. Shahraan seems to be having a fun time hopping from one lap to the other. The other stars in the movie are Sanjay Dutt himself and Lisa Haydon. The shoot makes David very nostalgic. It reminds him of shooting with Shahraan’s dad in the movie “Taqatwar”.

Producer Indra Kumar had dropped by the studio to see the new kid on the block. Kumar says the infant looks exactly like his father and he would do better to give the signing amount for “Dhamaal”’s sequel to the kid.

Sufi singer Kailash Kher to Perform In Kathmandu in Nepali New Year

After the grand success of Bryan Adams live concert in Nepal, Indian singing sensation Kailash Kher  best known for his sufi singing is set to stage his first solo performance in Kathmandu On the Nepali New Year’s Eve,April 13, at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza. 

Kher confirmed the news on Skype video chat conducted by Sunil Hamal of JPR Events at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza on Tuesday. “Kathmandu is a juxtaposition of art, music and culture and I’m looking forward to performing for the Nepali audience,” he said.

Recalling his previous visit to Kathmandu, Kher mentioned that he was impressed by the innocence of the people. “I was able to visit the Pashupatinath temple and I performed at a private party organized at the Hyatt Regency.”

Showcasing his knowledge of Nepali language, Kher asked, “tapailai kasto cha?” and sang a line from his hit number, “Saiyan.” He also sang the first two lines of the hit Nepali film song “kanchi he kanchi” and took the audience by surprise. Kher mentioned that he has worked with Nepali music directors. “I sang the title track of Akash Adhikari’s film “Kathmandu” and also in Nhyoo Bajracharya’s composition.” 

he will be performing for two hours at the event. He will be coming to Nepal with his 12 member band and staying for two nights in Kathmandu,” shared Samden Sherpa, director of JPR Events.

He also informed that JPR events was in talks with the team of the Temptation Reloaded Tour led by Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra and they could be coming to Kathmandu in May.

“After the success of the Temptation Reloaded Tour in 2008, Khan and Chopra are embarking on another world tour in 2011 and Khan has agreed to come to Nepal although we are yet to sign a deal,” he said.

Opening the Kailesh Kher act will be Abhaya and the Steam Injuns. “Naresh and Paresh, the two members of Kailash Kher’s band-- Kailasha have been my long time friends. We worked together as a band when I was 19,” disclosed Abhaya Subba.

The ticket to the event is priced at Rs 5,000, which is inclusive of dinner. The audience capacity of the event has been estimated at 1,200.

Terence Lewis creates Guinness Book of World Records in Reality show !!!!

Well Known Indian choreographer Terence Lewis broke a Guinness World Record that was made fewdays back in Australia by making 1,336 people dance in unison. The feat was accomplished through Colors’ reality show “Guinness World Record - Ab India Todega”.

The record was broken Saturday at St. Teresa High School, said a source.

The participants were invited through a free of cost registration process, and received a quick one-hour lesson from Terence.

Rob Molly, the designated official from the Guinness World Record, declared the effort as successful.

Terence’s challenge was to break the recent Guinness record of choreographing over 1,235 people, set in Australia.

Actor Shabbir Ahluwalia, who co-hosts “Guinness World Record - Ab India Todega” with Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, was also present to pep up the participants as they danced to the popular song “Jhoom barabar jhoom”.

Terence, 35, has been working in the Indian film industry since long, but received fame when he took on the role of a mentor and judge in Zee TV’s “Dance India Dance”.

Later, he was a participant on “Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi 3″, and was recently seen as a judge on “Chak Dhoom Dhoom: Team Challenge”.

Despite several false starts, Govinda's daughter Narmmadaa is finally preparing to make her film debut this April. Monica bedi, Controversial bollywood actress to act in Nepali movie Parichaya!!!!

An Indian tv personality and actor, Monika Bedi now has been conformed to act in a Nepali movie. This is the first time of Monika is acting in a Nepali movie and she hasn’t missed a chance to make it more memorable.

Thirteen years after she acted in her last film of note, ‘Tirchhi Topiwale’, Monica Bedi, better known as the companion of jailed mafia don Abu Salem, has begun a new innings in Nepal, acting in a new film that could be the mirror image of her own aspirations.

The 36-year-old actress , whose glamorous looks survived her long ordeal in the past when the Indian government sought her extradition from Portugal along with Salem, and her subsequent stay in prison for passport forgery, starts shooting in a Nepali film, "Parichay", directed by Mumbai-based director Akash Pandey.

On Saturday, soon after she flew into Kathmandu and dumped her baggage in a hotel in Thamel, the prime tourist hub in the Nepali capital,she was followed by nepali journalist. It was in the same neighbourhood that Nepali media tycoon  Jamim Shah, alleged to have close links with underworld king Dawood Ibrahim, was gunned down in broad daylight in February 2010. Bharat Nepali, another mafia hit man who claimed responsibility for Shah`s killing, was himself shot dead in Bangkok nine months later.

Monica, whose links with the underworld have remained the subject of unquenched speculation, looked unaware of the gangster history of the area as she smilingly posed for photographers in dark skintight trousers topped by a dark Reebok jacket over a jazzy T-shirt, boots and a pair of large sunglasses.

While refusing to comment on the fake passport charge that landed her in prison in India, Monica was, however, happy to talk about the new celluloid venture that has cast her opposite Nikhil Upreti, Nepal`s action hero who last year left the Nepali film industry to carve out a niche in Bollywood.After getting released from the jail Monica bedi had participated in different reality shows of Indian television.

Much of the shooting will be done in idyllic tourist town Pokhara, where earlier Govinda, Priyanka Chopra and decades ago Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman had flocked to shoot their new films.

In "Parichay", Monica plays a girl from a middle-class family who works in an office but is driven by dogged ambition to become a film star.

It could be the true life story of the girl who was born in a village in Punjab and then taken, as a babe in arms, to Norway by her parents. But at 18, she spurned the staid and respectable life of her parents, who ran a garments store, to return to India to seek adventure and her fortune in Mumbai`s tinsel town.

Being made in Nepali and believed to have the investment of non-resident Nepalis, "Parichay" unfolds after Monica meets Nikhil at a dance bar and the two fall in love and marry, only to be parted by her unbridled ambition.

Years later, when both have carved out their own identities they meet again, leading to a twist in the plot.

Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif to be Ambassador of IPL's Kochi team 'Indi Commandos''!!!!!!

As we know cricket and bollywood are interrelated to each other. Moreover IPL is not only about of cricket, and glamour plays an important part, with the likes of Shilpa Shetty adding zing for Rajasthan Royals and Shah Rukh Khan doing the same for Kolkata Knight Riders, while Preity Zinta ensures glamour for Kings XI Punjab. There is news that Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be the brand ambassadors of the Indian Premier League's Kochi team 'Indi Commandos'.

However Duo haven’t signed the deal with kochi team. Kochi team is an Indian Premier League team based in the city of Kochi, a major seaport located on the south-west coast of India by the Arabian Sea, in Ernakulam district of the state of Kerala. The team was one of two new franchisees added to the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the 2011 season, alongside the Sahara Pune Warriors. The team franchise is owned by Kochi Cricket Pvt Ltd., which is a consortium of multiple companies.

“We are currently talking to Salman and Katrina for endorsement deals,” Kochi IPL Team co-owner Mukesh Patel says. While Katrina has been seen promoting the Bangalore Royal Challengers in the past, Salman has been reported to be keen on buying an IPL team.

Industry observers pointed out that if the deal is signed, the Kochi IPL team would get the much-needed boost on the glamour front with Salman promoting the team along with Katrina.

The Kochi IPL team is ready with a promotional video directed by noted film maker Priyadarshan, which is likely to be on air in the coming days. The fourth season of the IPL will kickstart on April 8.

The Kochi team’s owners are desperate to invest a huge sum, in order to rope in Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif worth Rs 14 crores. According to sources, Salman Khan has demanded Rs 12 crores in order to become an ambassador of Kochi IPL team ‘Indi Commandoes’. Katrina on the other hand has demanded Rs 2 crores to become the ambassador of Kochi IPL team

It is almost official that Katrina will no longer endorse any Kingfisher brand or its IPL team royal challengers Bangalore as Deepika has ordered to her boyfriend Siddharth Malaya, to make his company cut of ties with Katrina Kaif. Katrina was surprised with this decision of Vijay Malaya as she was a good friend of Sid and Vijay Malaya till last year and now they are showing her the door. According to the reports, Shah Rukh Khan, a bollywood superstar and actor of Titanic Leonardo Di Caprio and maverick filmmaker-producer Martin Scorsese have decided to work together on an international project.

Its been in news that the film will have equal co-Production between the King Khan Red Chillies Group of India and Hollywood Company Sikelia. The film’s screenplay is penned jointly by Schrader and SRK’s good friend and author Mushtaq Sheikh. Sheikh also confirms that Scorsese has gone through the script and liked it very much.
