Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son In ICU Following Boogie Boarding Accident

As if this family hasn’t had a nightmare year already, People reports that Christopher Schwarzenegger, teen son of Maria Schriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been hospitalized with serious injures following a boogie boarding accident last weekend. “Christopher has been in ICU since Sunday,” a source explains. “Maria has not left his side and is sleeping at hospital.” Christopher apparently suffered a collapsed lung during the incident, as well as broken ribs.

“Thank you everyone for your messages about my brother. This kid is strongest kid I ever seen. Keep praying,” his older brother Patrick Schwarzenegger replied to well-wishers on Twitter earlier today. Added his sister Katherine, “Thank you guys for ur concern and prayers for my baby brother! He’s a tough little guy and getting better! Please keep praying for him! Xo” Here’s hoping Christopher recovers soon, and can enjoy a relatively normal second half of 2011.

Arnold’s New Job Is A Mash-Up Of His Best Old Jobs

Looks like the Predator actor is going with what he knows, and what he knows is glistening muscles and state legislation. EW announced today that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The Governator will be kicking bottoms and taking note of his constituents’ needs as of next year. “When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about ‘the Governator,’ I thought the word was so cool,” Schwarzenegger explained. “The word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together. It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the True Lies…” He didn’t say the pregnant men or the Danny Devito, but it’s probably only a matter of time!

Schwarzenegger's Kid -- Cops Shut Down House Party

Arnold Schwarzenegger's 17-year-old son had a run-in with LAPD officers this weekend -- when cops responded to a house party he was co-hosting ... and forced him to shut it down.



Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops received six noise complaints about a house party in West L.A. on Saturday night ... and when they arrived to the scene, they were greeted by Patrick Schwarzenegger.

We're told the officers -- which included members of an LAPD Vice Unit -- informed Patrick about the complaint -- and asked him and the other co-hosts to call it a night.

Sources tell us Schwarzenegger and his pals were very nice and complied -- but we're told the officers handed out multiple citations to minors who were in possession of alcohol.

We're told Patrick was not among those cited. 

So far, no comment from Schwarzenegger's camp.
