T.I., who was found with drugs during a traffic stop last month, appeared before U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday to ask for leniency in his sentencing.
"I screwed up. I screwed up big time and I am sorry," T.I. said. "I'm truly and sincerely sorry. I don't want and I don't need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life."
But Judge Pannell was not moved. "I think Mr. Harris had had about the limit of second chances," he said.
The 30 year-old rapper, who had been on parole after serving a year in prison on a weapons conviction, was found in possession of the drug Ecstacy during a traffic stop last month. He is expected to begin his latest jail stint on November 1.
